VASILIKON WINERY

Vasilikon winery is found on the northwest coast of the island, in the area of Laona-Akamas, in Kathikas village. It is one of the first local wineries, founded in 1993, and since 2012, a new state-of-the-art winery has been created, with a comfortable tasting area, a lecture hall and an exhibition space of ancient objects. The privately owned vineyards are located at an altitude of 650-700 meters, cover 25 hectares, and are planted with indigenous and foreign varieties with the dominant variety Xynisteri.
